Emily's Story

At the core, I am a client advocate cultural consultant and trusted coach.  My history includes recruiting executives and top technology talent, partnering with internal customers from a Talent Development and HR perspective, and advising Talent leaders as a Client Success Manager. The common thread: my passion for authentic relationships and bringing the best out of others drives everything about me personally and professionally.

The last few years were transformational for many of us personally and professionally, and I certainly was no exception.  In some ways I was enabled and, in some ways, forced by the pandemic to ponder tough questions about who I am and how I want to live my life.  I discovered misalignment between my values, heart, and the path where I found myself.  After taking some time to get curious, inspired, and intentional, I took a leap into the world of Coaching/Consulting.  I decided to name our business Sonore, which is an Italian musical term for "resounding" or "with voice."  Not only does this resonate on a personal level because my husband is a professional classical musician, but it also applies to defining a company's culture, who we are as leaders, and what we stand for in the world.

I love having conversations with leaders about building healthy cultures.  As a leader, potential biases and self-limiting beliefs can hold you back.  Often in our chaotic environments, leaders don't feel empowered to take a step back and get introspective about foundational cultural questions.  These are absolutely crucial to ensuring successful hiring processes, alignment across stakeholders, and resilience in teams.
